Jose Mourinho Launches Attack On Arsene Wenger In First Day In Charge Of Manchester United

Jose Mourinho  has re-ignited his feud with Arsene Wenger after mocking the Arsenal boss in his first day in charge of Manchester United.
Mourinho was unveiled as United boss for the first time at Old Trafford and immediately revealed he is targeting the Premier League title this season.
But he laughed off claims he was under pressure to deliver trophies at Old Trafford – and aimed a thinly-disguised dig in the direction of his old foe Wenger.

Mourinho said: “Some managers haven’t won a title for ten years. Some of them have never won a title.
“I won one a year ago. If I have a lot to prove, imagine the others.
“I could approach the job defensively by saying the best we have done is fourth and the FA Cup in the last three years, but I can’t – it isn’t my nature.
“In my big clubs before, Manchester United is a different dimension – but the reality is when people has the same menu year after year, you have to improve it. “Manchester United success was just routine and now the last three years to forget. I don’t want the players to think ‘we have to do better’.
“Fourth is better but that is not the aim.”
The United boss added: “I was never very good playing with words or hiding behind words or philosophies.
“In fact I never tried to be good, I was much more aggressive in my approach with the risks that can bring.
“I am not good at that, I prefer to be more aggressive – and that is to say we want to win.
Mourinho and Wenger have a history of clashing ever since the two first locked horns as Arsenal and Chelsea managers in 2004.
The Special One once claimed to have a 120-page dossier of digs and complaints Wenger had made about him, and called him a ‘voyeur’.
Mourinho went on to label Wenger a specialist in failure and the pair have clashed several times in the technical area during matches.
